Definition
A pontoon boat is a water vehicle supported by one or more of the floats and move over the water surface by motor. The float made of steel, aluminum or fiberglass, and has the form like a box or a tube.
Pontoon Boat - Outboard Motor
Pontoon boat which is popular at this time is pontoon boat supported by two or three aluminum tubes. Usually Pontoon boat has a Length between 12 feet to 30 feet and can carry between 4 to 15 people, the tubes have a diameter between 12 to 17 inch, using outboard motor or stern drive with power ranges from 10hp to 250 hp, and the flat deck to connect the tubes, made of marine plywood, aluminum plate or fiberglass sheet.
