Rachmad Mulyo

Rachmad Mulyo is my friend at college, also co-workers after graduating college in 1991, even though in 1994 we seek to separate their respective careers, but until now we still contact each other.

Even though he was consistent in boat building, Rachmat Mulyo always moved the workplace, because he always wants to get new experiences. Begin from laminating wooden boat building, ferrocement boats, steel vessels, aluminum boats, and the last experiences are fiberglass boats building.

Rachmad interested in the fiberglass boat in 2000, and then he worked at a private company engaged in the field of fiberglass boats building. From here he started to learn design a “high speed” boat especially motorboat.

To this he has succeeded in designing several hull of high speed boats in Indonesia, among others 15 meters motor boat (outboard motor). 18 meters inspection Boat, 22 meters inspection Boat, 28 meters inspection Boat and 36 meters motor boat (with me).

Currently he is working with partners to try design a 37 meters catamaran boat that is a great desire which he has not been realized at this time.

In 2009 Rachmad Mulyo thought to retirement, but not to stop working, it may be through this blog he hopes can give a little contrib on maritime in Indonesia that is still getting less attention.
